Grand Canal Hotel is located in the South Suburbs of Dublin City in the affluent Ballsbridge area on the banks of the Grand Canal. The hotel is a ten minute walk to Grafton Street, which offers the very best of international shopping and approximately 15 minutes by foot to the Irish Financial Services Centre (IFSC). Grand Canal Dock DART (Dublin Area Rapid Transit) Station lies opposite the hotel.

Our proximity to Lansdowne Road Stadium, a mere 5 minute walk, is second to none. The Royal Dublin Society (RDS) is the venue for numerous exhibitions and events such as The Dublin Horseshow and is only a 15 minute walk from the hotel. The Point Depot host to concerts and events is approximately 2 miles from the hotel.

Directions from Dublin Airport:
By car:

Follow the signs for the City Centre. Cross over the River Liffey and head in a southerly direction towards Pearse Street Station. This will lead you around the station until you see a sign for the N11. Follow the sign for the N11 for a few hundred metres until you reach the Grand Canal. Turn left before crossing the canal and drive along the canal. Take your first turn right and you will see Grand Canal Hotel on your right hand side. Parking is complimentary for hotel residents.

By bus:

Take the Aircoach Bus in the direction to the city centre/Ballsbridge and get off at the School House Hotel. When you turn off the bus go down the footway next to the School House Hotel. The School House Hotel will be on your right and the canal will be on your left. Follow this way for about 100 m, and then turn right. After 50 m you will see the Grand Canal Hotel to your left.
